Taste What Life Has to Offer

This year is one of really big changes and much needed habit building. I myself am approaching an age milestone and it is causing me to think twice, thrice, frice about life and where I want to lead it to go.

Far too often, we don't align our movements with where we say we want our lives to go. We say we want that new job, yet we only save applications and we don't complete them. We say we want to get to the gym more but we refuse to schedule it and only want to go when there is nothing else to do. We say we want to be a writer yet we take seven months to start our blog.

It's straight crazy bruh.

It needs to stop, sis!

Today I want to tell you that 2018 is still your year. You can still get it. If you missed American New Year, start up again with the Chinese one on Feb. 16th.

Taste what life has to offer.

One of the reasons I always reapply to be a Costco member and I pass on BJ's is because of the taste tests. I love lazily roaming the market, letting what catches my eye engage my senses. I love tasting the food. The best is when it is a super common item on display

"have you ever tried ravioli with tomato sauce?!"
"I do declare, I have not."
"Well today's your lucky day!"

I love taste testing because I get a preview of what is to come OR I get reminded of a familiar flavor friend. Either way it is worth it.

Such is so with life. Taste what is out there...either you will get a preview of what is to come and you can therefore accept or reject it, or you get reminded of something you love. Taste what life has to offer. This is your way and my way through 2018.
